Grade II Listed Manor House
Many people dream of restoring an historic country house for modern life, like our clients who bought this 250 year-old restoration project a couple of years before meeting Bess. By the time she visited the house in 2016, the builders had replaced the roof and stripped the shell back to its bones, so the prospect of our clients ever living there seemed more distant than ever. But piece by piece they worked with Bess to create an interior concept that would ensure the build met our clients' brief of a graceful, light and contemporary feel.
With the key project phases set out so that our clients could start living in part of the house as soon as possible, they asked Bess to create design schemes for each room. She designed furniture, accessories and fittings, advised on the restoration of period features and decorated the house with individual antique and contemporary pieces for them, including original artwork.
Our clients are delighted with their home and it has been a pleasure to help them to implement this dream renovation to a standard that will last for generations to come.
